Confirmant l'information publiée par blablachars le 15 septembre, les premières photos des chars Leclerc émiriens donnés à la Jordanie sont apparues sur les réseaux sociaux. Les engins ont participé à un exercice dénommé Salah al Din Citadel en présence de Sa Majesté le Roi Abdallah. On ne connait pas encore l'unité d'affectation de ces 70 ou 80 chars présentés sous la dénomination d'AMX-56. Ce don permet à l'armée jordanienne de disposer d'un char moderne aux côtés des Marder 1 allemands et des Centauro 1 modernisés en 2019. On ignore également si un nouveau don est prévu dans le futur.
